F12 Tape Resists Fraying, Shrinking, and is Flame Retardant
|
Our F12 tape has a 4.5 mil electrical grade glass cloth backing for easy placement and removal and is coated with 2.5 mils of silicone adhesive. This adhesive system is a cross-linked, semi-cured blend of silicone that will withstand 500 degrees F for up to 45 minutes. The woven cloth backing offers excellent resistance during light media blasting and short period thermal spray applications without fraying or shrinking. F12 tape meets military specs, is UL rated and is flame retardant. With dielectric strenght of 3000 volts, F12 tape can also be used as an electrical harness wrap.
